How to use this tool
1 — Set context
Enter your organization, industry, and the strategic question you are answering. A sharp focal question produces sharper option evaluation.
2 — Define strategic options
Add 2–4 distinct strategic directions. Each option gets a name, description, key assumptions, and trade-offs. Be specific — vague options produce vague scores.
3 — Score each option
Rate each option 1–5 across six criteria: strategic fit, feasibility, risk, differentiation, resource efficiency, and speed. Add a note explaining each score.
4 — Compare & decide
Click Compare Options to see a side-by-side scorecard. Choose your preferred option, document your rationale, and export to PDF.
Strategic context
Be specific — a sharp question produces sharper options. Avoid “what should we do?” in favour of a bounded, decision-ready question.
Import from your Competitor Analyzer, or enter directly. This anchors how each option is evaluated.
Strategic options
Aim for 3–5 genuinely distinct options — not variations on the same idea
